The last six months activities of MENARID 2012was evaluated successfully.
The second workshop on PM&E in MENARID was held on 10 December 2012 to study the MENARID activities progress and its evaluating. All MENARID national and provincial managers and executive team were present in this event, including; Acting National Project Director(ANPD)- Mr. Parviz Garshasbi, UNDP Resident Representative a.i.- Mr. Balasubramaniam Murali, National Project Manager (NPM)- Mr. Houshang Jazi, Head of Inclusive Growth and Development Cluster of UNDP- Mr. Ali Farzin and ….




During the workshop, demonstrations sites, their opportunities and challenges, beside the extent of works have been done on the fields were presented by Provincial Project Managers of Kermanshah, Sistan& Baluchestan and Yazd.
In pursuant, Mr. Morali thanked MENARID team for their implementations and achievements during the last 6 months and addressed that he is really keen on visiting the three pilot sites, provincial stakeholders and the local committees. He emphasized that all stakeholders’ involvement, both the community and Governance have been affected positively to achieve MENARID objectives; which, it has been progress well till now.
Mr. Garshasbi, FRWO deputy of watershed, added that fortunately MENARID has done creative and innovative activities on the pilot sites and therefore, it was succeeded to change the views and ideas of local people and authorities on natural resource management.




The first PM&E workshop was held in August 2012, after Mr. Jazi was announced as the NPM. The aim of this workshop was to clarify a precise planning for the rest working year of 2012.
